Virtual Payment Automation lets your company pay for travel using secure, automatically generated virtual credit cards instead of physical cards or employee cards. Each booking receives its own temporary card, which is created for the exact amount needed. This gives you stronger control over spending, reduces fraud risk, and removes the need to share card details with suppliers.
Payments happen automatically, reporting is clearer for finance teams, and reconciliation takes far less time.
How to use Virtual Payment Automation
Don’t worry - While setup involves your bank, we guide you through every step. To start, navigate to your GetGoing Billing page and select “Subscribe to Virtual Payment Automation.”
Keep reading to see how we’ll partner with you to get everything ready for seamless, automated travel payments.
Step 1: Check if your bank supports virtual cards
GetGoing uses Conferma to support virtual payment automation.
Visit the Bank Partner Page to see if your bank works with Conferma.
If your bank isn’t listed, ask your bank to contact Conferma at banking.partners@conferma.com to setup a relationship.
Your Customer Success Consultant can also help connect you with one of our partners.
Step 2: Contact your bank to set up a virtual card pool
A card pool is a credit card account containing your virtual card numbers.
When speaking with your bank, ask them to open a Conferma virtual card pool account and enable it for travel payments (flights, hotels, trains, etc.).
Your bank will create this account and confirm the setup.
Step 3: Share your card pool details with GetGoing
While setup involves your bank, we guide you through every step. To start, click the “Subscribe to VPA” button and a Customer Success Consultant will reach out.
Once your bank has created the card pool, you’ll provide us with details so we can setup your card pool in Conferma. See below for required information, and don’t hesitate to contact your Customer Success Consultant with questions.

Step 4: We handle the rest
Our Customer Success team reviews everything and sets up your card pool in Conferma.
When ready, you’ll receive confirmation that Virtual Payment Automation is activated in your GetGoing account.
From this point on, VPA card pools can be used for your travel bookings.
Step 5: Update your card pool settings on GetGoing
Who can use the virtual cards (for example, travelers or bookers)?
What can the card pay for (such as flights, hotels, or both)?
Provide hotel payment instructions to avoid check‑in issues for travelers.
