Not all Economy classes were created equal. Different economy classes, called class codes, differ in the terms offered by the airline. This includes changing and cancellation terms, meals offered, checked bags, carry on availability, seat selection available, priority boarding, eligibility for upgrades, number of loyalty points accumulated and the ability to use points.
Each airline brands and names these different classes differently. Most of the results return with this Branded Fare name and it is indicated above the meal and luggage icons.
All results from our low-cost provider return without this brand name and are simply tagged ‘Basic Economy’ which is the minimum economy class.
If you cannot find an Economy Premium result for a specific flight, it might be because that airline does not sell Economy Premium as a separate class, only as an upgrade during seat selection.
