Some airlines are sort of buddies and do something called ‘Code Sharing’. This means that one airline allows another airline to sell tickets on one of its flights. The airline you see in the flight results is called the marketing airline and it is the airline that will award mileage points. The ‘Operated by’ airline in the expanded flight details is the airline you will actually be flying with.
What if I see a bold remark ‘Operated by’? Do I still get FF points if I select it? Print
